I consider myself blessed to have an amazing circle of quality friends. My friends are some of the most talented, creative, caring, unique, real folks around. So it came as no surprise that I would meet Ellen via friends, and she would become part of that circle. She was aware of my art efforts, along with the efforts of many other artists. She frequently attended shows in support of our work, making purchases and singing our praises. Our friendship grew closer. We met for musical events, including several "Los Fabulocos" shows. We enjoyed having Ellen in our home, and she never contributed anything but enthusiasm to any gathering. She supported the arts, the community efforts, the political scene, and environmental causes. She lived life, "Con Ganas!" (With heart and gusto) Because of my brief but valued relationship with Ellen I have met even more quality friends. And I have been encouraged to live life fully, taking no moments for granted. Ellen, my dear friend, your presence in my life will be sorely missed, but never doubt my appreciation.
