You see Ms. Finkelstein was my 5th Grade Teacher and 5-6 combined grades were her very first assignment in 1970-1971 school year at Second Street School.  She was so very full of life.  I only wish I could gave reconnected with her sooner since apparently lived in the same general vicinity of Thousand Oaks and Ventura, CA.  I am so blessed that I got to introduce both of my adult children to her as we got a chance to share a meal at TGI Fridays in Thousand Oaks, CA.  She was so kind and loving.  Rest in Peace Ms. Finkelstein.  I appreciate the trip we took to your house in Manhattan Beach, CA where I believe she lived with a fellow Second Street Teacher Ms. Bruno.
